These are cherries dipped in chocolate and pressed against a kiss to dry. The almost slivers were inserted while the chocolate was still soft, and a little dab of chocolate was used to press on the mini m&m (or red hot). Another drop of chocolate was put in the center of the two drops of icing that make up the eyes.
My friend, Carrilee taught me how to make these little guys years ago. I can imagine a million different reasons these would be fun to make and have around. This year the were treats for a few little guys to go along with the poem 'Twas the Night Before Christmas
