Pumpkin Pie Bites

I saw these on Bakerella.com's website, and I had to try them out for our character book day at school (Cinderella's Carriage after midnight).

Halloween Brownie Pops

I had to try out a few brownie pop ideas I saw in the Wilton Brownie Ideas book.
Witch's Broom
(I used the pretzel rods, and broke them in half, and stuck them in the still warm brownies. I used the star tip for the straw, and molded an orange slice for the ring.)

Aqua and "Pearl" Anniversary Cake

Pirate Cupcakes

I found a photo of these online. I used big, red, heart sprinkles for the 'tie' on the bandana, and gold cupcake holders.

Here are half of them on a little treasure map I put together to anchor them all down, with a few little gold pieces and jewels strewn around. The other half jumped ship (or rather, wanted to sit in their box until delivery, but you get the point!

Baby Boy: Matches the Plates Cake

Baby Boy's Shower Cake-Made to Match the Plates. Welcome, Lincoln!

See, it matches the decorations!

A View from the side-I was so excited to find some ribbon that matched!

Lincoln's Grandmother really likes baby footprints. I found this chocolate mold, and made enough to be served with each slice of cake, plus put a little set on top of the cake to match some of the confetti decorations the hostesses bought.

Giraffe Dress

This dress is for a plas five year old granddaughter. I love giraffe print, so it was a fun one for me to make! This go round I put her first initial on the front using the fabric on the inside, so she can wear this for any season!

Celebration Dresses

I made this series of dresses for some little girl's celebrating their first birthday (I got this idea from a friend, and had to try it out). Underneath are fabrics that peak out as they wear the dresses, I've flipped the bottom up in the second picture to show the fabric below. In cooler weather these can worn with little blouses underneath.

Cheesecake Pops

I've seen these all over the web lately. There was apparently a competition a month or so back. There are a lot of great instructions on making the pops. I just took a few slices of cheesecake I bought at the store, and I scooped the pieces into balls. I even included the crust (I've seen where some people rolled the balls in graham crackers). I got 7 pops out of two slices of cheesecake. After I formed the balls, and inserted the sticks, I put them in the freezer for about an hour before rolling them in melted chocolate, and sprinkling them with toppings of my choice.

Pie Pops

Oh....so yummy. I got this idea from Bakerella's Blog, she borrowed it from another blog....aren't blogs fabulous? All the instructions are on her blog, but I did take the advice of previous testers and roll the dough really thin (I got 12 pops out of one pie round), and I added two cherries to each pie to make it a little more heavy on the filling, along with some cornstarch to the filling to make it a little thicker. I also baked it at 350 for a little longer (15-20 minute4s), and didn't cover the sticks with foil, and all seemed well. The only other addition I made was sprinkling the egg washed pops with a little sugar, and I loved that additional sweetness.

Yolanda's Lavender Cupcake Pops

I used my favorite recipe/instructions from Bakerella to make some more cupcake pops. I was considering using purple, just to be different, then decided to go the traditional route with pink, and the store was out of pink chocolate, and they had one bag left of lavender....I guess it was meant to be!
